Lake Mead Bass Report - reellittlephish - 10-22-2013
First day fishing in several months....Launched Monday about 11:00 from Boulder Harbor. Maybe a dozen bass rigs parked.
Went to several places in the lower basin no more than 3 miles from the ramp. Fishing or catching was spotty; long spaces of no bites then several bites in one area. Fished downhill from shore edge to 50 ft. Most bites around 15 to 20 ft.
Did get 5 bass in the boat between the two of us. Largemouth and Smallmouth mix.
Water surface temps around 70°. Flat conditions. Bass were caught around larger chunk rock with some dead sticks present, from a rock holes and once maybe cruising over a shad school. Jigs, drop shot and weightless plastic. No solid pattern.

I was up northern end of the lake on sat and put 14 in the boat in the first 2.5 hours. 12 smallies and 2 largemouth. Great morning
