Tahoe Lake Kokanee on the Kayak - video - Calicanuck - 09-01-2013
I mounted a Cannon Uni-Troll 5 ST on my MalibuKayaks Pro2Tandem and took it out kokanee fishing on Lake Tahoe. The fish were down at 97 feet. I like this upright configuration of Cannon for the kayak and self breaking, so no levers to mess with. I didn't really try for the Lake trout in there. Check out my rig! Downrigger, Deep cycle batter and trolling motor, all to catch some 11-14 inch Kokanee Salmon, haha! Took me a little bit to get the video put together, this was a couple weeks ago. Didn't catch a whole lot. Maybe 15 and lost some more in three days fishing. Was amazing weather though! I love it up there.
