Saguaro 8/21 - AFFamily - 08-23-2013 Got a back seat invite Wednesday to join Chase20057 pre-fish Saguaro for a tourney the following evening. We met up at his house and were on the water by 6:45 Just about to head out Usually August in AZ is unforgiving with the heat and humidity. Tonight wasn't so bad, was just under 100F when we launched We headed directly to a spot that Chase had found success at recently. We fished for 4 hours and boated 4 fish. 3LM and a 8lb Flathead, all fish were released to fight another day. I should mention that Chase did all the catching. I threw DS for about 2 1/2 hours with no bites on 3 different plastics. Switched to the rig Chase was using, got some hits and couldn't set. My tally for the evening was a nice tree, a bunch of weeds, 3 birdsnests, and a lot of words I wouldn't repeat in front of my Mother. Only decent fish of the evening Tight Lines.
