Our trip to 33 Hole 8-15-13 - NVFishin - 08-17-2013
We had another fun trip out to Mead, but didn't get the action we had hoped for.
We found some really nice bait balls, but not much chasing them. No great boils to speak of, at all. Sounds like the fish were up near Echo Bay....we had considered going up there but just didn't feel like making the drive.
But.....to my surprise when we went a little north of the 33 hole, I caught a 6 pound cat on my Kastmaster 3/8th oz. Tossing into the bait ball, going after what I thought would be stripers and came up with the cat. The largest cat I've caught on Mead. Also got 1 striper, but that was it.
Another fun day at the lake!
