I am headed over to Jackson Hole soon to pick up a new camper. I thought about taking the boat along to fish a fish or two. I am not sure right now if I will have the time or not. Thanks for the info. Ron

The Idaho Falls area has a very small population of sturgoen . American Falls below the Dam would be a lot better .

Ron I moved to idaho falls three years ago, from Jerome where I got hooked on sturgeon. I have fished all over the I.F. Area for sturgeon and have caught three. Nothing over 3 ft and all at John's hole. But I have not caught anything there in about a year.
I have also heard rumors of sturgeon in pali
es but a I believe them to be that rumors. Fish and game say they could be there but have not heard of anyone catching any thing.[signature]

I've heard the same rumors about divers working at the inside base of Pali
es dam reporting monster fish. I've never heard where they identified the species however.[signature]

I have seen a picture of a sturgeon caught near the Pancheri bridge on the North side below the walkway. It was 3-4 feet long and caught last summer.
