Haven't read much about Redfish. Anybody fish there much, and if so how good is it, and what do you fish for, and with what?

I wouldn't waste your time. Stanley Lake is a much better choice, with decent fishing either from the shore or trolling.

fish the inlet area. salmon eggs seem to work the best. tons of bull trout in there. just handle them with care and cut the line if they swallow it.

Back when I was a kid we would troll with white rooster tails, the koks loved them.
