I am thinking about making a family trip fishing some time in September. I have never fished CJ during that time of year, but its location and campgrounds are ideal for my plans. Can anyone here tell me what the perch and crappie might be doing around that time?

On the flat out in front of cottonwood campground, look for all the boats, use perch meat on a 1/8 jig head in 20 ft of water. Kinda slow in the narrows.
