Have any of you been running into any Rattle Snakes? It seems they are out and about. Never seen or heard so many.

I am amased that I have not seen an Idaho rattlesnake in the 34 years I have lived here. I need to go find some one of these days.

I run my dogs in the desert a lot and not on rattler this year. Weird.

I too have seen quite a few this year, most recently sitting in the middle of the road outside of Pine. I stopped to check it out, it hissed and striked at the car, the wife screamed, we left.

Riding the highway to banks on my motorcycle a few years ago and came around a curve and there was a rattlesnake in my path. He actually tried to strike the motorcycle.
