deadwood or duck valley Indian res - Oskolkoff - 07-23-2013

Me and a buddy want to go camping next week but can't decide where to go we would like to at least have a chance of catching some nice trout 18+ inch we are open to any where within 4 hours of boise we were thinking duck valley or deadwood i have never been to either so any info is welcome and so are pm's thank

DV is hot, weedy and ugly but you have a good chance of catching some nice fish. Not good eating fish in my opinion. You got the extra cost of the reservation license also.

DW is cooler and beautiful country, If the winds are right you might have some smoke. May have a harder time with the larger fish but they are there. Fish eat awesome and lots of exploring to do. And unlike a lot of people I enjoy the drive in.

If it was me I'd choose DW this time of year. Love to fish DV but only early early spring when the rain blows sideways.
