American Falls advice? - ross220 - 07-04-2013
I bought a new boat a few weeks ago [
] and am thinking of going to AF res, this sunday. I have never been there before and was looking for some advice, just some general locations or tackle choices would be great. I have heard that the lake is low, what boat ramp would be the best to launch from? I appeciate any help.[signature]

Ramp by the dam is always the best bet with the low water. As far as the fish, last time we were out they seemed to be hitting on whatever the hatch was on top of the water and nothing else spinner, spoon or bait seemed to do anything for them.

Well the good news is the boat ran great, but we only caught one small perch. The weather was against us the whole time we were there, but we got to check out the lake a little. Maybe we will do better next time.
