blackfoot reservior ??? - trfishin - 07-04-2013
Hello I was wondering if anyone can tell me what kinds of fish are in blackfoot reservoir? I love to fish and my friend loves to shoot carp and I have heard that there are a lot of carp in there.
I love to catch photo and release trout, bass, panfish well anything while hes having fun shooting carp but want to try another lake we have never fished? any help would be great thanks and good luck fishing[fishin]

trout and bass, went there a few weeks ago and did well for rainbows going 20 inches

As far as I know Blackfoot Res has carp, suckers, rainbows, cutthroats, and some perch. Shouldn't be any bass there.

yes I have a small alum 14' boat my friend son and I caught some fish up at Oneida last week and my friend got to shoot some carp with his bow now we are also looking at alexander reservoir by soda springs to
I have a boat and love to fish and my friend loves to shoot carp but I want to find a place we can do both thanks for the help

Alexander also has an excellent population of carp. It also has catfish, perch, and small mouth bass. But they are harder to find.

This is bad news for that place. Not supposed to be bass in there. Its really starting to produce some nice bows. Have some family that has caught a few 6lb+ bows out of there this year.
