Salt water rods - Bowsie15 - 06-24-2013 I'm new on here and want some opinions on salt water casting rods. I've been using the penn PSS power stick series rods but have had a few break. I'm wondering what everyone else uses. I like to really get the lures out there and use braided line and 2-3 ounce lures. Thanks in advance. I use them for jigging offshore for various large species of fish, and I also found it useful inshore casting plugs and such. I've never broken one, not even on very large fish with locked down drags. They run about 120 bucks, and have a lifetime warranty. [signature] |
