Hello I was wondering if anyone can tell me what I have to do if anything if I want to bring my boat from wyoming to Idaho to go fishing?
I have looked on the idaho game and fish page but might have over looked it but I dont see any information.
I was wondering if you have to have an invasive species sticker on your boat if its just one or two days visiting and fishing in idaho?
Also can anyone tell me where or what you have to do as far as boat inspections? Do you have to have your boat inspected before you can launch?
I would love to go and try to find some bass to do some catch photo and release action on but want to make sure I have everything taken care of with my boat so I dont have to waste a day looking for any inspection boat site etc. any help would be great

The boat inspections aren't nessissarily mandatory, if you happen to drive by before the inspectors get there. You don't have to waste your morning waiting for them to show up. If they are there, you do have to stop. The sticker is 20 bucks or if you get caught without it, it's an 80 dollar fine. They will not force you to buy the sticker at the check station.

hey thanks for the information it greatly appreciated I was looking at the other information in the links that were posted on here and couldnt find anything about that manidatory inspection either. when we get a chance to go up and do some fishing we will buy a sticker and get it put on our boat and stop at the check stations if they are open and keep doing our personal inspection, washing and drying on our boat
