From the ndow website - syncityangler - 06-13-2013 [ ![]() URBAN PONDS A great time was had by all at the various events held around town for Free Fishing Day. The young and the young at heart alike had fun fishing and catching. The bite is on for bluegill. These scrappy little fish are hitting on mealworms, corn and popcorn. Look for the fish where the light bottom gives way to dark grass beds. Catfish have been going for anchovies, corn, hotdogs or conventional stink baits. Bass in the ponds can be enticed with various soft plastics. [signature] Re: [syncityangler] From the ndow website - Erawk - 06-16-2013 I'm really not sure. I have never heard that although I can think of a couple reason they might have such a regulation. Maybe you should call NDOW and ask. Anchovy and Sardine are not part of the local fish population. The fish parts are also not allowed for crawdad trapping, chum and bait fishing, Not even the guts of a fish. Learn it, know it, live it. [signature] |
