hey everybody!
I heard rumors (all over the trib) that my drive down there wont be worth it for a while. anybody been down there recently, especially from the access road? If the kill did happen I hope it took some of those dang chubs with it!!

I don't think it's a waste of your time at all. Just prepare yourself for a little walk. Head on down the railroad tracks a good mile or 2 & the fishing is still really really good.

even though alot of the fish were killed off in the section right below the dam, there are still a large number of carp in there that will always put a bendo in your rod

Dude i love those golden beasts! Too bad one got the best of my 6wt vxp..lesson learned.. Had to send the poor bugger in.. How big are the carp up there? And does anyone know if the Chubb are still everywhere down there?

since the fish kill i have not seen a chub at all this year. does not mean they are not in there at all. the carp below the RR trestle get some nice size to them and man are they picky and spooky.
