Hi!
I would love some help! I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and am a pretty good panfish/bass fisherman. I have been living on Oahu since 2004 but never fished...but since I just got furloughed...I am thinking about picking it up. I would love to go after tilapia to start. I live on the leeward side, though don't mind a little bit of driving.
Does anyone know any place that is good for tilapia, but also where the fish is safe to eat? I used to live near some lagoons in Ewa and all the fish were off limits due to chemicals...but I know that is not the case everyplace.
