I wasn't going to make a video this week, but this rainbow was just too special. It wasn't huge. Maybe 18", but it was an unforgettable acrobat. Hope you like the video.

For some reason the fish there at deep cr tend to be pretty acrobatic. I'm glad to see you got into some as well...It is
to see how low the reservoir is this year, I was there two weeks ago in the rain and snow and I was way bummed at how low it was it really messed up some of my favorite spots to work in my float tube. Was that the biggest you caught that day? Last year I really got into some nice ones but so far the one time I went out there this year its been nothing but first year planters.[signature]

That was the biggest for the day. Ice fishing we got some really nice ones. I was hoping to find them, but I'm sure the location, time of day, everything would be different. I just hope there is enough water to hold over for ice fishing this winter.

Yes it is Gopro. It takes hours of footage, to find one little gem of a clip like that. In the end it is worth it. I love reliving that tug down and then the explosion into the air.
