American Falls Res Help - Mrxshun - 05-10-2013
Ive been considering going to American Falls Res but have no idea how to fish it. Anyone have some suggestions? Bass or Trout. I would probably troll Rapalas near the Dam?

i have a feeling the bass will be at it full force this weekend on the res. trout fishing has been awesome! can never go wrong trolling a rapala, cd7 anything crazy colored.

Seems like early in the year we catch them on varying colors of flat fish or the broke back type rapala in some yellow or orange color. Seems like once you get into one you can circle it and get into more.

From Mexican cove on up. From 15-35 ft deep. Trolling Rapalas cd-7. Anything orange really. This is on the North side. Hope this helps.

That is what I've always been told, that it is called Mexican cove. Hope so? Im sorry if im wrong. Its the 1st big cove on the west end up from the dam.
