Help! Blacksmith Fork River - IbeaFishin - 04-30-2013
Im going to go about thirty minutes up Blacksmith Canyon this weekend and wanna fly fish up there. I have never fished Blacksmith and any advice on what flies, areas, tips would be great. Thanks!

Use the same patterns you would use on Weber or Logan rivers. #14 Hares ear, Prince nymph, Stone nymph- trail smaller Pheasant tail, Scud, Zebra midge. on top try parachute black ant, Mormon girl dry. Be on the watch for the giant Stones they should be coming off soon up there. Access? There is a lot of access points on Blacksmiths fork.

Hey thats good info thanks. Im not sure about the access point. I know that were going up about thirty minutes up the canyon to a free camping spot.
