Greys GX500 Reel - flyfish_88 - 04-22-2013
Anybody have any experience or handled a Greys GX500 reel? Looking for a new reel since tow of the three cabelas reels I have the drag is not working anymore. I found a deal that comes with two extra spools for $95. I could replace all my wind river reels with that deal but I don't want to get it if it isn't worth the money.

Cool reel. Never heard anything bad about Greys.
I use the Wind River on my carp rod. I put it to the test for sure with no issues though and I have caught a bunch.

Well worth the money. Great reel for the price. I use mine as my lake reel. The spools are easy to change and with the pin identification, you will know exactly what lines you have. I say go for it.
