Going after turkeys this year - fish-o-holic - 04-10-2013
I have not hunted turkeys in a few years. About 10 years ago i went from mountain home all the way to dwarshack res. there were a bunch of birds there. a couple years later i went to Council area. we got into some birds but not a lot. about 3 years ago my buddy went back to council and all the areas he hunted still had snow and had no luck.
If i go back to the Council area this year does anyone know if i will run into snow. I am planning going April 17th night and staying till sunday morning sleeping in a tent. I will not be able to go scout so day one on the 18 will be a scouting with a gun day. i did talk to some land owners and got permission before and hopeing to do the same this time.
What is the odds of me finding any tasty Morel mushrooms while i am hunting in the area?

It would appear that you already left, but I will be up around Cambridge this weekend. We are leaving Fri night and staying until Sun morning. I hope to get a bird, and maybe some pictures to share.
