First fish on fly rod - rw02kr43 - 04-09-2013 Caught my first fish of the year and first ever on the fly rod last night. It's just a little fish, but it's better than no fish. Felt like a little fish. And it was. But it's cool. I was surprised how much I could feel through the line. I could feel him poking at the fly and eventually taking it. The places I have taken it have been very complimentary of this rod. They like the reel I put with it too. I seem to be able to cast it okay. The wind was having a lot of fun with me yesterday.
