Vancouver Island Reports - bcprofisher - 03-24-2013 Was out this morning for hours fishing for winter Chinook salmon with a couple who were guests of the Sooke Harbour House Hotel. We left the dock at 8am and by 9am we had their 4 fish limit weighing 12, 10, 8 and 7 pounds. I also kept a smaller fish for my dinner. We then trolled west doing some scouting for future trips. No more salmon but we did fluke into a 15 pound halibut. A great day on the water in March! [signature]
