I was at devils creek 3 weeks ago and the edges were bad there then . Let us know if you go . Curt G.

Was at Deep Creek on Saturday. Getting on was no problem in the morning, but you could see the edges were soft. The ice is still 12" thick but its all cloudy white & no chips coming off, just snow cone kinda ice from the auger. Getting off was a different story. Broke through about 4' from shore and went in to just below the knee. I'm done for the year.

Heard its 20 feet off the edges. No Daniels for me. Guess it'll have to wait till its all gone to hit it in the pontoon!
