(Hemostats) I use that tool more than any thing else. I need a little help removing the hooks from them fishies... plyers wont cling to me when I am on the river... the tool that I get the most use of in that kit is the filett knife. the tool that I get the second most use of in that box is those clipers with the string that goes around the neck. I got one of them rapala clipers this year, good investment, I dont know what that red thing in the box is? I have one of those but it doesn't beat my Lansky sharpening system. Although the one in the kit would by good for small touch-ups inbetween those dozens of bluegills. A good pair of Hemostats can come in handy for small fish. I use them for catching pike in the swamps. I have a friend that works in the hospital, so I can get a few pairs when I need them. The red thing is a knife sharpener.[/size][/font] [signature] Re: [byrumjr] The one kit every angler needs! - lonehunter - 11-26-2003 i saw a guy with this set! at the foote dam , fishing with his boy . he would catch and release some awsome steelhead , always weighing them before releasing . there quest was not for length , but weight . in the old days he used to catch 14 pounders , he wanted his kid to do the same , let the little ones go . kinda neet thing to do i thought .
