Fising report: 33 Hole Area 1/27/13 - dsmacey - 01-30-2013
My brother came in to town for some meetings and wanted to go fishing. So even though it was super windy we headed out. Anchored near the 33 hole area at what I call The Bump. Blowing 30 MPH I would guess, but fortunately I have a 28 ft boat and a big anchor and it held! Fished 90 ft. with cut sardines starting around 1:30pm. Finished up around 4pm and probably 30 stripers between the both of us. Most on the 1-2 lbs range. A couple of 3 lbs. Not too cold but the wind was brutal. Good fun and glad we could make it out while he was here. He usually fishes for Muskies up in Wisconsin.

Hi dsmacey. I'm glad you got your brother onto some fish. We saw the wind reported for Sunday and opted for Saturday instead. It would have been dangerous in the little aluminum. Thank you for reporting.
