Had a blast today . 20" of solid clear ice . I caught 12 rainbows , Kept 4 that were 14"to 15" and put back the small ones . Curt G .

Congrats Kurt. Sound like the ice isn't as thick as that guy told me but twenty inches, that's a lot. Hope you had a power auger, other than your mouth going grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I am too old to not have a power auger . I take two with me every time I go . Last year Sportsmans Warehouse had a close out on the 8" Augers for $ 189.00 . so I bought one for a spare , incase my 10" shark gives me trouble . Curt G.
