magic - FT487 - 01-13-2013
Just got back from magic. Landed 13 trout. nothing too big one 20 inch and fat. Lots of perch most of them small. I did manage to keep around 10 7 to 8 inch. Not one bit on eyes or cut. All bits came on a jig head tipped with worm. I didn't jig very much beause of all the bits on the other polls. Did see a huge brown some guy caught he said it was 26inch. weather was cold but no wind. Was a good but very long day.

We had the exact same experience. Couldn't buy a bite on anything other than a worm. Lot's of people moving out to the center, did they do any better? The turkey shoot was kinda was kinda freeky.

I did see more people out in the middle. Not sure how they did. The big brown I think, was caught out in the middle. The turkey shoot was a little interesting. I was just waiting to get peppered with shot.
