I get off work at 1 tonight, at which time my buddy bryan and I will be heading back out to willow beach for round 2. Hopefully by tomorrow afternoon (when I wake up lol) I'll have at least one pic of a new hoglet for you guys, wish me luck[bob

Any luck? Or did you jinx yourself with the pre-emptive report. I'm so superstitious when it comes to Willow, haha. I rarely post a Willow report even though I've been out there quite a few times the last year.

lol week n a half later...of course no luck. I def jinxed myself man--we spent the night there till morning, it was a bad trip...took my buddy with me who wanted to drink more than fish, got so hammered I was takin care of him, what a nightmare!!!
The river truly is a cold hussy. Wish she would give it up! So I'm waiting for my heart to heal, then it's back at it. Just been been paddling to the intake tower at boulder lately

She is a cold, merciless beast. I had a rough year down on willow, so I feel your pain. I'm planning to return for more punishment but with a new strategy. It has been so cold, I can't imagine staying out there all night this time of year. Better luck next time firend. keep us posted (after the trip) haha.
