We were hoping to go ice fish there this weekend, wondering if anyone can tell us for sure if it's capped over & how much ice is on it.

Just got off the phone with Eric M. Johnson, Deputy Administrator for Nevada State Parks, and he gave me some good info.
He said the lake is averaging 4" thick ice with 2" of snow on top of that. He said the area around the boat ramp (20 or so yards out) was the thickest, about 6"-7", and that is where people are catching fish.
