New Cascade Tournament? - Woodlands - 12-04-2012
So i have been thinking about starting up a new ice tourney on cascade this year. It would look a little like this: Early enough so it shouldnt effect Tackle Toms Cascade Cup (but plan on talking to him)
One Day: Saturday Jan 22 or Jan 29
Start time: sun up, Doors open at 6AM (you need to come into legion before heading out fishing to pick up official ticket, however you can register before hand)
Entry Fee: $20
It would be held out of the American Legion
cash prizes by weight: ( ties broken by time of weigh in): Judge retains the right to cut open any fish to look for foul play.
1st biggest perch: $500*
2nd biggest perch: $250*
3rd biggest perch: $125*
biggest rainbow: $200*
biggest junk fish:$100*
Junior entry Fee: $10
biggest perch: $100
biggest trout:$100
*Depends on number of entries could be lower or higher (current numbers based on 100 entries)
There would be a spaghetti or chili dinner provided and a cash bar at the legion
50+ door prizes raffled off to any entry regardless of size of fish (determined by official ticket)
there would be $5 raffle tickets for purchase at door for either a gas auger, shelter, flasher
All proceeds would be donated to 4H for their Youth Fishing Day

Tournaments are not my thing. Sorry. I make an exception for the 7 fish challenge is different cause it doesn't crowd anglers up.

My 2013 calender indicates the 22 and 29 are both Tuesdays not Saturdays...We may be interested in being involved if the dates were firmed. [

Looks like we can't make that date as we planned the weekend before 18-21 its a holiday weekend and thats when we planned one of our Cascade trips for...I'm sure it will be a FUN EVENT best of luck to all who enter!!!
