Had to hit it one last time. Started out looking for some perch, and drew blanks, so at 11 we pulled out the trout gear, and picked up a few before it shut down. Then at 1:00 it turned on big time and we limited out by 2:30. You just have to wait them out, but they will eventually start feeding. Lately, it has been an afternoon bite. We saw the biggest trout I have ever seen come out of C.J. A boat showed us a trout they had caught. (we heard them yelling earlier!). It had to be at least 6 pounds, and with a lot of color, which you never seem to see there. I was talking to a recently retired F and G fellow at the ramp later, and he told me they occasionally throw in some of the older spawners from the hatchery. Well, this one was a monster! Mike
