They are great for fishing, man. I have the Hero 1, (on sale at Best Buy for about $130). I got the 1 because it was marked down with the GoPro 3 coming out. Get the headstrap, or a custom mount for your boat/yak, and get every fish on film! I can film a solid 2 hours on 1 battery (or, on and off for most of the day)... love it.
