Jordan River Mix BAG... - Flyfishinglover - 09-27-2012
After all the fun stuff happened today I just was temped to go on the jordan river. I remember some guy saying at a certain stop that I know he said there's a few white bass and crappie flopping for scuds. Toss a red scud and red copper john caught 3 baby crappie, 1 white bass finally on fly rod as well. 1 smallie on tail grub. Kitties caught on white bass meat 1x1 in.
Just happy i finally got a channel kitty after 2 years of lack of fishing for channel.
Just another day not getting skunked. [angelic]

The fish you got on the "tail grub" isn't a white bass, but it surely looks like a largemouth.

Nice job...Me and a buddy been fishing going after large channel cats but it hasn't been going so well. I'ma hit up my private spot this weekend. Let me know if u ever want a jordan river fishing buddy. Typically I just use worms and sometimes things like white bass for bait. Would be fun to go fishing!

ya maybe some day man lol. Ya I just havent fished jordan river that much since i moved. I hate those random trees in the water in the middle of an open water. I lost so many jigs, tail grubs, hooks, egg sinker, split shoots. Gosh the money just keep adding up but at least it was a nice calm day. I havent caught a channel kitty in years but time will come one day to catch more. Ya maybe next week theres a spot at my old home town that id love to visit that could be a potential kitty and carp fest.
Sounds good maybe if i got a day off from work next week we can go some where on the river. Id love to find some big kitties.
