I heard that Brownlee was going to start to release water just after the holiday. Has anyone heard this. Ron

It sounds more like they are currently slowing the regular flow to keep the ramps available through Labor Day. After that it will be back to its drought condition flows.

I wonder how fast they will drop it when they start back to regular flow? Do they have to catch up? Or will it just be back to the regular amount out?

I don't know. I think I heard this from a IP employee. I heard it was due to a dry summer and high need for power due to the heat and air conditioning. Ron

Have you had any recent trips to Brownlee, Ron? I was hoping to head up there sometime soon. I know the water's down about 20 feet from full pool.
If they really start draining it after this weekend I better get up there soon... however I have had some good luck on the ridiculously low water days there too.... [crazy]

I haven't been up there at all this year. I wanted to get up there and other things keep getting in the way. The only problem with a lower level is getting the boat in the water. I like to launch from the beach. When the water is dropping the chance of getting stuck increases. Ron
