Snake River Sturgeon - Chris_S - 08-29-2012
Went sturgeon fishing on the Snake from 8am - 1pm. Ended up with 8 on the day. Biggest of the day measured 85", followed by a 60,59, 54. The others were under 3'. This was my first trip out using dacron leaders and I'm sold. All 4 of the biggest fish plus a little guy were caught on the same leader. I never had to retie and there was never any evidence of damage.
Of course this is the only time I've ever left the camera at home while sturgeon fishing and I get eight.

Shore bound on the river. I have a bass boat, but I don't think it would last too long in the snake.
