I was looking over the previous years numbers over Lower Granite last night and the outlook does not appear to be very good. When August numbers are down as low as they are right now the remainder of the year stays just as low. It could be a long very slow steelhead season ahead of us. I really hope that I am wrong, but it is not looking good at all.

Check out the water temps! Pretty darn warm.......... I'm betting when the ditch cools down they will come. Maybe not an epic year but I bet it turns out to be ok. If you look at the counts there are approximately 60k fish in the Bonneville dam pool alone that haven't moved up yet, they will make their way when they are ready..........
