Sawtooth salmon trap numbers fall off - SalmonRiverID - 07-16-2012
The IDFG weekly salmon fishing report won't be out until 4-5 this afternoon. We've made a few calls this morning and written up what we've learned in our fishing report here:

Of interest right now are the daily trap numbers at the Sawtooth Hatchery--shown in graphic attached. Is it an anomaly, a blip or a trend? Will be interesting to hear the opinions here on BFT Dot Com.
Note added 7/17/12 @ 1 pm--We learned today from a very credible source that the fall off in trap numbers is probably largely due to the onset of Shoshone-Bannock Tribal fishing.
