SUP fishing - micaman - 07-09-2012 My friend and I went out on lake michigan on a stand up paddleboard today. More like a surfboard than a kayak, but they dont have a category for that. 2 rods, 2 kids, a net, and a stringer made for a rough ride. Not only did we avoid dumping, but I landed a personal best smallie, 20 inches and 7lbs. Maybe its lucky or somethin.... It's kinds of a hybrid, being that you can either sit down on it and paddle it like a kayak or stand up. There were three seat options available and I choose what is called a 1st class seat. The board is called a versa board by native watercraft. [signature] |
