Just making sure, Weston. - Leaky33 - 06-30-2012 As I read the regs. as of tomorrow, 1July, I can keep 2 under 12 in, or 2 over 16 in, Am I correct in my interpretation of the regs, ? I can't believe it was that long ago. Time flies when you are fishing! http://www.bigfishtackle.com/cgi-bin/gforum/gforum.cgi?post=529050 [signature] Re: [cpierce] Just making sure, Weston. - Leaky33 - 07-01-2012 Thanks young un. The bass at Weston are used as a natural control to keep the yellow perch down to a manageable population so they will grow bigger. However, allowing some bass under the normal size limit of 12 inches minimum is a way to keep the bass population in control too. Be prepared to catch one or two trout too while fishing there. I use to fish there pretty regular before i got a boat and loved it. Maybe I should go again to get some of the large yummy perch.
