Has anyone been to Stone reservoir lately? Is it even worth heading over there?

I was there back in mid May. It was good then for the recently planted trout. Also there weren't any ski boats out yet.

I know this doesn't answer your "recent" inquiry but I have fished it in past years. Stone just like every body of water has its own personality. Fishing down near the dam is the best place for planter trout. Perch, a few moving target crappie and some common carp round out the fishing. On a scale of 1-10 with Henry's Lake a 10, I would rate Stone a 2 or 3 for fishing. [:/]
