Kali and I joined up with Lunddude at Magic on Thursday. We did much better than on our trip last week.....well, at least Kali did. She gave me a lesson in humility!! She finished off her limit with an 18 1/2 incher before I even had a strike. All were caught at 11 feet with a 2-blade Jack Lloyd silver flasher and a wedding ring. When we boated over to say goodbye to Lunddude, he had just measured a 19 1/2"er and then released it. Kali's fish averaged in the 15-17" range. Last week it was all dinks.
Haven't heard yet how Mike (Lunddude) finished out, but I imagine well, considering he is a fishing machine! Talked to two boats pulling out with us and neither had caught a single fish.....no downriggers were the likely reason, although I couldn't use that as an excuse on my part! Mike

Never touched another fish after you guys left. I left about an hour after you guys. All I had for the day was 2 in the boat and 1 that managed to spit out that shad rap while doing some big airials. It was fun catching the bigger fish though, I swear he cleared the water 3-4 feet a couple of times and made a couple of nice runs against my drag too. Looks like Kali put a whoopen on both of us yesterday.[
