Failsafe lures for Alaska - Hainesfisherman - 06-20-2012
Lately I've seen quite a few questions from people who are going to visit Alaska about what lures to bring for shore and river fishing. There are 5 favorites of mine that will work for just about anything those lures are going to be listed by brand name.
Blue Fox: Pixee original or rattling in red and orange or silver and pink varying sizes. Vibrax spinners in many colors depends on the water.
Mepps: Syclops in any color especially pink. The flying c in pink and orange.
Finally slightly more specific but if your going for steelhead or pinks a marabou jig with float works great.
