One more question... - CaliOkie - 06-08-2012 I know that I have to keep freshly caught fish on ice but how long can I keep a fesh before I have to cook it? Is it possible to gut, clean, and/or fillet a fish, vacuum seal it, and put it in the freezer? If I do the above, do I have to fillet it first or can I just make sure it's gutted and cleaned? TIA, -CaliOkie [signature] Re: [CaliOkie] One more question... - gdn443 - 06-09-2012 As long as they are clean, you can freeze it. Three months is the longest I freeze them before throwing them out. Freezer burn seems to hit them quicker than other meats. [signature] |
