Doing some C & R - lonehunter - 05-23-2012
Well I see I gotta switch over to the basic editor still .
Anyway still fishing but not as much as I want to , ton of stuff seems to come up all the time .
Just a recap of what's been going on , Mom passed two years ago ,Max the dog last summer , Step dad last fall, dad just this spring. I'm about funeraled out .
Got a new puddle jumper off craigs list , yep , found a few holes that were siliconed over but welded them up pretty good . she's a screamer .
Had to rebuild my GAS tank , the rubber hose just rotted into shreds , bought a flexible sink hose and it fit just fine .
put a new fish finder , lights,seats, rod holders and yes , even those fancy drink holders that won't spill in rough waters , that was a yard sale find, saved myself $12.00 .
yep , slaped that old piece of junk into a proper fishing boat in about a week , just in time to slam some nice sized gills , C & R fishing that is .
Looking forward to this weekend though , gotta get some pike fishing done to keep in shape ,LOL !

sorry about the many losses, it is tough getting old and having those around you leaving.
I hear ya on the todoo list. this is the first day I have gotten time off of volunteer work for some of the siniors in my area that I have been able to get away to get on the computer, I still havent wet a line since before the new license came out. I got the day off only because it is raining, we havent had any rain in weeks here, It has rained but it has gone all the way around me..
I thought is was a sin that I could not get out on the water for the trout opener and the bass opener.. Hopefuly things will slow down here in a couple more weeks after all the spring cleaning is done.[:/]
