Got a family thing to do in the sweet/montour area saturday evening...was thinking of poking around BC for a bit...anyone willing to share their take on the bass and bluegill in the area?

Be careful of the sand bars. Fishing in my opinion is poor to lousy.

above triangle park is sand bar city. there a few, i mean few, smallies and largies there and some bullhead cats. thats about it. flipping along the brushy shorelines was the only place i caught them. not on my list of places to go.

My expectations arent high at all, but I figured that I had a bit of time to kill and would throw in the rod just in case.
I will poke around and see if i can shake up a smallie or two. If not, I'll just go have some bbq'd cow up the road.

the BBQ would be a better bet, if the river isn't raging that is a much better option for small mouth, the res. is very poor, lived there for 2 years and always fished the river or drove somewhere else...

We have 10,000cfs going through it now, but I would still give it a shot. Even make a few casts below the Dam. Try a lipless crankbait and rip it. I've caught a bunch at this time, but only when the flow was at 6000cfs or so.
