Black Canyon - mfbdude - 05-22-2012 Got a family thing to do in the sweet/montour area saturday evening...was thinking of poking around BC for a bit...anyone willing to share their take on the bass and bluegill in the area? My expectations arent high at all, but I figured that I had a bit of time to kill and would throw in the rod just in case. I will poke around and see if i can shake up a smallie or two. If not, I'll just go have some bbq'd cow up the road. [signature] Re: [mfbdude] Black Canyon - Duck-Slayer - 05-24-2012 the BBQ would be a better bet, if the river isn't raging that is a much better option for small mouth, the res. is very poor, lived there for 2 years and always fished the river or drove somewhere else... Try a lipless crankbait and rip it. I've caught a bunch at this time, but only when the flow was at 6000cfs or so. [signature] |
