[fishin]Went to Lava Lake Saturday in the wind, man was that a workout, but wow 2 awesome fish full of runs and acrobatics al on my CC Custom Rod 3-4wt. man was that fun[cool]

Then scooted back down the road to Carey Lake for some bluegill action on a popper. Landed 2 bass and alot of gills one made 7" and a again on the 3-4wt. I think I will love that rod more and more as time goes on[

I nee to get after the bluegill this year. I have never tried Carry. Maybe this would be a good year to give it a try.

Fun stuff! I love fishing with my 3wt. The fight of a gill that size is amazing on a smaller fly rod, and I bet those trout gave you a good run too.
Good to see some nice gills coming from Carey again.
