So, last Thursday, me and my buddy went river fishing. After catching a few panfish from the bank, and watching a few snakes swim around, I seen a monster just a foot from the bank. Now, Im not exactly sure what it was, but I wanted to find out. I dropped my minnow in front of it, and BAM, it hit! I set the hook, and felt this monster's power. In a matter of 5 seconds, I hooked, and lost this fish. Iwas left on the bank looking like a fool. Me and my buddy decided to name this fish "Big Hoss" as it was all of 3 feet, and at least 10 inches around. Should I ever run across this fish again, and get the chance to hook it again, I will bring it in and have pictures to prove it. Let me know what you think...
