Im from the texarkana,tx area and I fish a lot on lake wright patmon and u also fish on caddo lake. I was just wondering if there us a specific type of bate I need to use right now to catch some catfish on a rod and reel. Thanks

Hello Robert, welcome to BFT. I'm not familiar with the lake you mentioned but catfish will eat a variety of baits. Nightcrawlers, cut bait (carp, minnows, anchovy etc), stink baits, Raw Shrimp (coat in garlic salt and/or molasses, anise etc). Adding scent to any bait is a good idea since catfish hunt by smell.
