Birch Creek - 300winnie - 04-03-2012 Does Birch creek typically run high and muddy during the spring, or does most of the run-off from that area have other avenues. Looking to take my two boys (9 and 12) before it gets busy. Thanks. [signature] Re: [300winnie] Birch Creek - ChrisTheFish - 04-03-2012 Birch is usually a pretty safe bet as far as runoff goes. It can get a little higher and a bit cloudy but it doesn't stay that way for long. [signature] Re: [ChrisTheFish] Birch Creek - Bmarsh - 04-03-2012 +1 for what Chris said. Gets a few inches higher and a little murky but that's it. Nothing really runs down into it. It's pretty much spring fed. I fished it last sat and the normal spring cloudy what was about gone.
